1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the RentShare mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App. These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and NPM Soft Solutions LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").
2. Description of Service
RentShare is a utility and rent management tool designed to assist roommates in calculating and distributing shared monthly bills. The App connects to user-authorized email accounts (Gmail or Microsoft Outlook) to detect utility invoice amounts, calculate user-defined roommate split shares, and dispatch individual billing summary emails.
3. Subscriptions & Billing
RentShare PRO Subscription: Certain premium features of the App, including automated bill scanning, custom rent due-date reminders, and scheduled bill delivery, require an active RentShare PRO subscription ($0.99/month following a 1-Month Free Trial).
Billing & Renewals: Subscriptions are billed and managed directly through Google Play Store billing. Payment will be charged to your Google Play account upon confirmation of purchase or at the end of the free trial period. Subscriptions automatically renew monthly unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Free Trials: Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited if you purchase a subscription. You may cancel your subscription or trial at any time through your Google Play Store Account Settings.
4. User Responsibilities & Accuracy
RentShare assists in calculating bill amounts based on automated email scanning and user inputs. You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of all utility totals, roommate split percentages, and email recipient addresses before sending billing notifications. NPM Soft Solutions LLC is not responsible for incorrect calculations resulting from unread email formats or user input errors.
5. Email Integration & Security
Connecting your email account to RentShare requires OAuth 2.0 authentication. The App accesses email messages solely to read and extract amounts from utility provider statements. We never store or access your account passwords. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and connected email accounts.
6. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the RentShare application, including its source code, design, features, and branding, remain the exclusive property of NPM Soft Solutions LLC.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, NPM Soft Solutions LLC disclaims all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the App, including delayed email deliveries, billing discrepancies, or utility service interruptions.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated Terms within the App or on our website. Continued use of the App following any changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms.
